A busy year so far at our house! caring for our new puppies for the first half of the year, they are now just starting to take part in the show world. Our little Sapphire was Best Puppy in Breed at her first show (North Wales Toydog) and was awarded 2nd place puppy bitch at her first Championship show, qualifying her for Crufts at her first attempt. Our Marczipan also awarded Reserve Best Dog in Breed at the same show. We eagerly await the debut of our youngest baby, Bellablakes Loving Arms.

Wonderful news, after a good year in the showring last year, Marczipan starts the 2015 show season with another Best Dog in Breed at the Manchester Championship show. Marczipan & his mother Lottie have also had specialist eye testing carried out again with clear results & healthy eyes.

Our Marczipan has only been to a few shows this year but we are thrilled to announce he is the forth top Bolognese in breed this year, having been awarded 1 Best of Breed, 3 Best Dog in Breed & 3 Reserve Best Dog in Breed.

.: Busy Time at Bellablake, Jan 2014 update
The last few months has been rather hectic. Marczipan has had several fantastic results of late, culminating with Best of Breed at the Manchester Championship show this month. Our lovely Jasmin was awarded Best Puppy in Breed at her first show & both will be going to Crufts in March. Specialist KC/BVA eye testing has been carried out & all have passed with healthy eyes. We have had our KC assured breeder inspection & all went well. If that was not enough, we hope to have puppies in a couple of months too.

2013 Babies. Our new litter is born. 1 boy & 2 girls, Bentley, Lulu & Jasmin. We are really thrilled with them.
.: Marczipan Competes at his first Crufts
March 2013 & Marczipan makes his debut at Crufts for us. A fantastic day out with good friends & lots of other Bolognese! A total of 50 dogs entered.
Marczipan won his class, going on to be awarded Best Puppy Dog in Breed. On the last day of the show we took Marczi back to appear on the "Discover Dogs stand" where he did his bit for the breed & he met lots of people & was his usual lovable, playful self. He had a wonderful day out as did Gigi who tagged along with us.

January 2013 Shiarita Springtime Dream at Bellablake (Lottie) passes her KC/BVA eye tests with perfectly healthy eyes.
.: Marczipan achieves a double win
January 2013 What a day! In the morning Bellablakes Marczipan Star (Marczi) is awarded Best Puppy in Show at the British Bolognese club show at 9 months of age. In the afternoon he was awarded Best Puppy in Breed at the Manchester Championship dog show.
.: A new baby in our home
December 2012. We are thrilled to welcome our newest member of the family to Bellablake. "Bicia's Precious Moments at Bellablake" lovingly known as "Gigi". Thank you to her breeders Ninna & Lars Bicia for allowing her to come to the UK to join us & become part of our showteam.
.: Marczipan Starts Show Career
October 2012. At the age of 6 months & 2 days our Marczipan was awarded Best Puppy in Breed at the South Wales Kennel Association Championship show 2012 under breed specialist judge Mrs Vikki Marshall, qualifying him for Crufts at his first show.

Our Lottie had a wonderful outing at Crufts 2012 not only winning her class but also achieving "Reserve best bitch in breed" A lovely result for her before she takes time out of the ring for her first litter.
.: Blackpool Outing
February 2012. Just one week away from Crufts & Lottie is awarded Best of Breed at the Blackpool & Fylde toydog show under Judge Jason Lynn.
.: Midland Counties Result
October 2011. Lottie has been awarded "Reserve best bitch" at the Midland Counties Championship show, under judge Mr Dominic Browne. A fantastic result out of an entry of 28 dogs.
.: Lottie Gains her First Best of Breed at Championship show
We are so proud of our little girl. At two years of age she has now matured very nicely & her adult coat is now starting to take shape. At the Three Counties show in June 2011 Lottie has achieved her first Best of Breed at a championship show under breed specialist judge Chris Thatcher. Many thanks to Chris for thinking so highly of our girl.
